Poor Shaving Performance

Over the years I've owned four Braun electric shavers and have been pleased with each. This unit is about twice as expensive as the one I purchased two years ago, but it does a terrible job at shaving, perhaps because the screen has wider apertures than the previous ones I purchased. What a disappointment! Don't waste your money!

OK for price

This shaver is OK because it is cheap. It's not an everyday shaver though. It's best to simply bridge gaps in normal razor use. I'll shave every 3rd day with my razor and use this electric to keep growth down in between. Otherwise this razor simply won't get the job done. But for 30-40 bucks I can't complain about it. Light, easy to use, but it is noisy though.

Bring your older model back

Two years abo I bought a node l Series 1-150, Color black and gray. I loved it. It took 1 hour to charge the new silver one tales 8 hours to charde. The new silver one had the foil head fall off two times, so I am real carefull now every time I shave. I am going to replace the foil ans cutter on the older model, the black and gray one and just retire the new model. This great company really went from a great model to one they they have now will cause them to loose sales of the more costly models.

Good quality. Does the job.

The Braun 1-150 is a good razor. My only complaint is I am not able to shave when the product is being recharged. If the battery runs out in the middle of your shave, you're out of luck. Otherwise, the product does a fine job shaving my beard.

Slower than expected

Shaving time has increased versus higher priced multi head shaver used previously. (Also a Braun). Generally OK considering low price. Washable feature a plus - better than having to buy expensive cleaning tank ($5 - $6) used by top of line models. Confirms the old axiom: "You get what you pay for".
